AOC CAIRANNE VILLAGES, Red wine

Blend :Grenache 60%, Syrah 20%, Carignan 18%, Mourvèdre   2%
Age of Vines : 45 years old on average
Outlook and Terroir : Cultivated on limestone, sandstone and clay soils on south/southwest facing slopes
Alcoholic Strength : Approximately 14°
Wine-making : Traditional fermentation, 100% de-stemming

Tasting Notes

Deep colour with purple highlights.
Soft fruit on the nose, blackberries, black cherries with hints of jam
Also minerality.
A very onctuous mouth with a sensation of fullness and sucrosity.
Round, soft tannins. One finds liquorice and vanilla hints of vanilla.
It’s a soft wine, without no agressivity, easy and generous.


AOC Côtes du Rhône, RED WINE

Blend : Grenache 55%, Syrah 15%, Carignan 30%
Age of Vines : 35 years old on average
Outlook and Terroir : Chalky-clay and clay soils on south facing
Alcoholic Strength : Approximately 14°
Wine-making : Traditional fermentation, 100% de-stemming terraces to the east of the Village

Tasting Notes

Intense colour, garnet hue with an expressive nose, red fruits, ripe fruit, blackcurrent aromas with spices and orange zest.
Round pallet, with a tense but pretty structure and silky tanins.
Strong and lasting finish.


Vin de France, Rosé wine

Blend : Syrah 40% , Carignan 60%
Age of Vines 30 years old on average
Outlook and Terroir : Chalky-clay soils on south facing terraces to the east of the Village
Alcoholic strength 13°
Wine-making 40% by bleeding, 60% by direct pressing with low temperature fermentation (16°). Maturing on lees.

Tasting Notes

A sustained shine colour, bright hue. Ruby with garnet highlights.
The nose has a middling intensity. Dominated by cherries and blackcurrants. Fresh fruit flavours, ripe grapes and grenadine.
As for the pallet the initial attack shows volume and sweetness (smootness, barley water) a fresh, well balanced style with a certain liveness. One falls on notes of blackcurrant and raspeberry.
Can be drunk throughout the year.

 


Principauté d’Orange, IGP Vaucluse, red wine

Blend : Grenache 55%, Syrah 25%, Carignan 20%
Age of Vines : 35 years old on average
Outlook and Terroir : Chalky-clay and alluvium soils on south facing terraces to the east of the Village bordering the southern Rhône Appellation contrôlée
Alcoholic strength : Approximately 13°5
Wine-making : Traditional fermentation, 100% de-stemming


Vin de pays de Vaucluse, red wine

Blend : Grenache 60%, Syrah 20%, Carignan 20%
Age of Vines : 30 years old on average
